Due to circumstances Wang Kiu went into early retirement. He then was requested to come to the Netherlands by the father (a business man in Rotterdam) of Chan Chiu because his son wanted to be taught Kung Fu.
Wong Shun Leung and Victor Kahn (the latter did not know Wang Kiu that well at that time) held a farewell dinner-party in his honour before leaving for his holiday in the Netherlands.
Ultimately this holiday has lead to him staying in the Netherlands permanently.
