SWK has been founded with a specific goal:
“to teach the authentic Wing Chun System of the lineage of Ip Man / Wang Kiu in the most open and transparent way possible”
The ‘Wang Kiu Cross Experience’ invites everybody who has experience with other martial arts or other Wing Chun lineages to be open for the insights of the proven very effective Wang Kiu Wing Chun fighting system.
By mainly implementing the 5 principles of the Wang Kiu Wing Chun system we will show the most logical approach to a fight. We do not shun discussions during this training, we are mainly focussed on obtaining an ‘open minded’ approach from all parties involved to enable a positive standing between all disciplines of martial arts. You are therefore invited to come over and get to know our traditional but mostly practical approach of Wing Chun.
This ‘Wang Kiu Cross Experience’ is ideal for various disciplines (such as Boxing, Tae Kwon Do, Jiu-jitsu, Karate, Judo, Wushu, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Krav Maga, MMA etc) to get an insight in the approach of a realistic fight that may occur on the streets for example. We do not pretend to be the best. We do not believe that a superior Art or Style exists. We do guarantee however that you will be able to effectively implement the insights of Wing Chun in your own discipline!
For other lineages of Wing Chun, Ving Tsun, Wing Tsun, Weng Chun etc., this is the ideal way to get informed about Wang Kiu’s Wing Chun, who was one of the private students of the late Great Grand Master Ip Man and founder of Wing Chun in the Netherlands.
Thee ‘Wang Kiu Cross Experience’ consists of a 3 hour long training session. This session will certainly not disappoint you!
The ‘Wang Kiu Cross Experience’ is meant for everybody who is really open to a (partially) different approach to a combat situation!

- 3 hours session (1 x 3 hours)
- Lessons in our own SWK training school
- One on one training by one of the Head-teachers and private teachers of Wang Kiu
- Understanding the difference between the Ip Man / Wang Kiu system and other Martial Arts
- Understanding the difference between the Ip Man / Wang Kiu system and other Wing Chun / Ving Tsun / Wing Tsun lineages
- Obtaining a realistic view towards the (im)possibilities of various disciplines
